They did shooting and archery, painted a wooden box they had built the day before, learned to play marbles, and practiced their skits. When they did archery if they hit the card on the target they got to keep it. The day ended with a picnick dinner and then skits.

Cub Camp - July 24-25
Thurston really enjoyed Cub Camp this year. I volunteered to help on the second day.

Renton Art Show - July 23,2015
While Tasha was away at Girls Camp the kids and I drove up to Renton for the Renton art show.
The Russell's enter every year too, so we saw them there and they were nice enough to pick up our unsold pieces after the show ended a week later.
We got there a bit early and walked around. Tamsyn wanted to know what these plants were and asked me to take some pictures. I still don't know what they are.
Trying to match the drama mask faces.
All the kid's entries get awarded art supplies and get a certificate.
Dantley got a $20 Juror's choice award from the Renton Lion's Club for his watercolor painting "Holding Hands"
Tamsyn also won a $20 Lions Club Award for her collage/painting "Seattle Catline"
The red dot means hers sold -- it sold quickly on opening night. I see why -- I think it is great.
Thurston got to draw out the door prizes. We drove straight home afterward.
