I drove up to Tacoma on Thursday, June 11th and set up my booth. That night I stayed at my MTC companion Anna's house. They were leaving the next day for a camping trip, so the next night I went and stayed with my friend Stephanie Brady in Maple Valley. Such a whirlwind I didn't take any pictures, but it was super fun to catch up with her and see her cute kiddos.
It was a last minute decision for me to go to WHO this year. I checked with the people who put it on a few weeks before to see if they had any open booth spaces. They gave me a great deal, so I decided to do it. One of the days a grandmaster at chess was there and he played several people at once blindfolded.
