May 1, 2015 - Since Bill and Alyce had to turn around and come back right after spending a week with us in Hawaii for Bill to come set Jake apart, they decided to bring an incubator and some eggs. A friend of theirs gave them the eggs and let them bring us the incubator for us to borrow. There were many different colored eggs that made us curios to see how differently the chicks would look. The kids and I had to make sure the humidity and temperature inside the incubator stayed at the correct level. We often had to add water to keep the humidity where it was supposed to be.
