On July 2nd we drove from Malad to Moab. When we drove through Price I took some pictures and sent them to Mark to see if he could recognize where we were since he went to school here.
Our hotel had a great view and was super close to the Arches National Park entrance.
After checking in and spending some time making plans and trying on hats in the visitors center and gift shop, we headed straight to Arches to do some hikes.
We drove to the very back of the park to the Devils garden trail head and hiked to about 6 different arches there.

The kids were such good sports for how fast and far we hiked and they still had some energy left after to go for swim at the hotel pool. Definitely a great first day to our National Parks adventure.
